On this Independence Day, while you are enjoying BBQ and fireworks, remember this July 4th as the one when The President, Gen. "Betraeus" and "Heroin Hamid Karzai" sold out the US troops; they said, we realized that the Afghan War can only be lost and we have decided to simply bribe the enemy and get outta Vietnam, uh, Afghanistan.
Oh, really?
And, Mr. President and Gen. "Betraeus," just when did you decide to tell the Karzai Krime Kartel that the new American "plan" was to bribe the Taliban? And, how many troops were killed, maimed, or driven nearly-insane, before you finally announced your Bribe Plan?
The majority of
the American people knew that this was a hopeless, foolish war, but you
followed the Bush plans: "clear and
hold," "targeted overwhelming force" (a half-assed attempt to
copy the Powell Doctrine), "winning hearts and minds," "village
pacification," "counter-insurgency;" yes, that last one was a
sign of insanity: using a failed
strategy (Vietnam) again.
"Winning hearts and minds..."
Mr. President, due
to you inexperience with war and the Pentagon Cabal, you missed the chance to
do the right thing when you took office:
pay off the Warlords and get the troops the fuck out of Afghanistan. Instead, you let the Pentagon "stars"
sell you that same old load of bullshit: "more troops, more time, more
money ad infinitum."
Where was
Campaign Obama, who said he would wind down the war? You said we should simply root out Al Qaeda;
there are only a handful of dedicated, jihadis in Afghanistan; they got the
memo about the war expanding and moved to Pakistan; oh, BTW, we all know that
Osama is in Waziristan; could it be that he is a handy, former CIA asset, that
can serve as a straw man for you "War on Terror"?
Oh, right, then
you pinned the "ENEMY" badge on the Taliban; they never attacked the
US and are rebels fighting to take over Afghanistan, just like the Colonists
and the British during the American Revolution.
Oh, right, they want to create a theocracy, not a democracy, and they
are cruel to women and, yes, the latter is deplorable, even despicable to we
here in the Western world.
But, what
right do we have to interfere in a civil war?
Is democracy right? God's plan for Man?
Many Palin Patriots
say that the US was founded by Christians and should
become a Christian country, where the Bible takes precedence over the Bill of
Rights and the Constitution. Some
"patriots!"--these religious fanatics! (Or, is that term reserved for true believers in the Middle East?)
Mr. President, your country is economically circling the bowl--"people everywhere are...runnin' outta' money"*--your states are going bankrupt, your citizens are unemployed, foreclosed on by the Banksters, homeless, hungry and desperate...and...about to get really pissed off and, well, revolutionary.
And, the fire this time will not just be a few Christian Theocracy Fanatics, or Anti-Taxation colonists, it will be the MILLIONS of unemployed, the homeless, and the hopeless--"a thousand people in the street..." and there will be "Somethin' happen' here..."**
Where is the
"hope," when
you spend $6.7 BILLION a MONTH on "your war"
When did Campaign Obama turn into "Slick Barry" Obama?
If you want homeland security
on your borders and on the Gulf coast, bring home all the National Guard troops
and all the rest of the troops from the Middle East, Europe, Japan, the Philippines
and all the other outposts where they are not defending liberty, but protecting
the corporations who defile our planet.
May I humbly
suggest Mr. President, that you sit with your family and watch some of your
wonderful campaign speeches and try to discover where you lost that wonderful
candidate?
One last bit of
advice, before Israel with the help of the Neocon cowards
and the Zionist
zealots drag you into another war that costs this country "money and
marrow" and benefits Israel more, publicly state that, if Israel, as is
its right as a sovereign nation, decides that Iran must be attacked, the US will
not take any part in that war.
Mr. President,
please find your self; prove to the country that you are not
Obusha The Bullshitter, but still Obama The Hopeful and you will remember:
