EARL NASH F L A S H >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ca Pakistani Caving in to the demands of Pakistani military leaders, the US dropped its support for a “do-over” election in Afghanistan and pressured Heroin Hamid’s opponent Abdullah-Abdullah to drop out.
The US negotiators had proposed a deal, which included offering Abdullah-Abdullah the position of Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan, but the Pakistani military leaders objected, because they believed that he was pro-India.
Fearing the loss of the support of the Pakistani military in combating the Taliban in the Pashtun area of Pakistan, the US caved in and withdrew the offer and all support for Abdullah-Abdullah.
In response, Abdullah-Abdullah represented his withdrawal from the Afghan presidential run-off on Monday as a protest at the failure of key poll officials to resign.
He claimed he did not believe there would be a fair ballot after the first round of voting was overshadowed by mass electoral fraud.
Left with Karzai as their only remaining player, the US representatives met with King Karzai and sternly lectured him about taking immediate and effective actions to root out the corruption in his government. Karzai reportedly was affronted by the US demands, as he saw it as the US meddling in his country’s internal affairs. Karzai was left with the problem of “rooting out” his own brother, “Wally” Karzai, one of the leading drug kingpins in the country.
